research out today indicates that in 20 years time 60% of the world's private wealth will be held by women! women are becoming more independent, are getting better jobs, more women than men buy property, women generally inherit more money than men, so ... is it becoming a woman's world?

not if the guys stop behaving like wimps..I'm all for equality however some women have a real problem with men...I can't stand the moaning types who tar us all with the same brush...

.....
In Italy the domination of men, by women, is coming to an end.Due to an increasing dissatisfaction in the inequality of men..they are taking control of their lives and all I can say is Forza Reggazi!...

Definitely, the day is coming when we won't need men at all....just rampant rabbits hehehe (did I say that?)

unfortunately for women there will always be the weak and inadequate women who fall for violent abusive men, though much has been donme to educate women about these inferior creatures many still fall through the cracks..and I wish to feck that they didn't..

Well that's true though.

Lol Freya, what would we be wanting with a small fluffy rodent? *wink*

Unfortunately I think figures like this aren't indicative of the world-trends they claim to represent. For example, I doubt women in most developing countries would report much of a revolution in gender equality. But all the same, having figures like this anywhere in the world is pretty new, and, dare I say it, kinda cool. *insert girlpower slogan here*

Resonant your right most of the women in Africa are still waiting for or unable to achieve equality,it's this gulf between the sexes and the continued daily abuse of these women that has contributed to the AIDS crisis in South Africa...

What about weak and inadequate men who get beaten up by violent women...much better idea I think eh small fluffy rodents here we come!!!!!!!

Post 11 by sugarbaby (The voice of reason) on Monday, 25-Apr-2005 12:40:57

well in reality it is only really women in the western world who have equality, after all look at such countries as saudi arabia where women have no rights, are not allowed to drive, have separate parts on busses, have to walk 5 paces behind their partners - even western women are treated that way in saudi arabia. Sadly it's all about culture, and is not unique to africa. The AIDS crisis is a topic for another discussion ... as for abuce, well abuce can take on many forms .. you don't have to beat someone up to abuse them, yu can do it verbally and break someone down emotionally, and that is often the hardest type to spot - why any woman stays with someone who beats her up is just beyond me ...

I disagree the AIDS topic is entirely revelvant, as it continues to spread like wildfire, due to the rampant rape and sexual abuse, all perpetrated by men often the husbands of these women..they cannot refuse the man when he demands sex, or they may be killed or savagely beaten, so the inequality and lack of enpowerment is entirely to blame...and those who verbally abuse and accuse are scum!

Well yeah, I never believed this but actually some men got beat by violent women. I basically don't think women should rule the world, my former post was just a joke. I just think that women in Africa or in the Arabian countries should have equality.

The men do not start out as weak or inadequate they become so,due to the beatings also the threat of violence which is worse psychologically. And the most frightening of all the threat of abandonment "you can't survive without me your useless" ect. If a 6ft 3 230 pound man is subjected to that on a daily basis, he will begin to succumb to its effects, just as the same is true for women NO ONE! male, female, gay, straight,or transexual. Should suffer abuse from their partner...
